Yard lights aren’t quite an art form, but they’re close. If you’re looking for Corpus Christi’s greatest Christmas light displays, swing by these five destinations this weekend.
Four Decades of Christmas Lights
A tradition for 47 years now, homeowner Victor Salter’s yard has more than 23,000 LED lights. Need we say more? Friday through Sunday, sunset to midnight, 623 Carmel Pkwy
Candy Cane Lane
It isn’t quite Christmas without a trip down Candy Cane Lane. With 300 houses clad in Christmas lights and pop-up yard displays, the beloved neighborhood is always the place to be during the holidays. Parking on surrounding streets is recommended due to traffic. Friday through Sunday, 6 p.m. – midnight, Everhart Rd. and Donegal Dr
The Best Nativity Scene You’ll See
No nativity scene in town rivals the one on Willowbrook Drive. We can’t resist the life-like figurines and live animals. Neither can you. Friday through Sunday, 4823 Willowbrook Dr.
Mr. Bill's Wonderland
This one’s as interactive as they come. Bill Cox has filled his yard with handmade animatronic decorations every Christmas since 1998. From pop culture icons to classic Christmas characters, there’s something to see for just about every member of the family. Tots and their parents can pose for pictures in a stationary train set and venture across the street to find a nativity scene and life-size choir display. Oh, and you might just catch Santa there, too. Friday through Saturday, Kensington Ct. & Hampton St. (Brighton Village)
A Cruise Down Ocean Drive
The city’s most prestigious street has sprawling lawns and glittering Christmas lights for miles. Follow the lights all the way down to Shoreline for a pit stop at the massive Tree of Lights. Friday through Sunday.
