Sure, water and a mop get the job done. But cleaning your floors should be a little bit more than that. You?ve definitely invested good money in your floors, and your investment should look as good as possible.
Finding the right tile cleaner or hardwood cleaner certainly takes time.? Fortunately, we?ve been around the block (of wood) a few times and we?ll save you the effort. The best thing is most flooring cleaners require little work outside of a few sprays, and maybe a dash of mixing thrown in for good measure. Here are our favorite flooring cleaning products for tile, hardwood, laminate and vinyl floors, plus natural stone and grout.
Natural Stone, Grout and Tile Cleaner
DuPont StoneTech Professional Stone & Tile Cleaner or Mohawk Tile & Grout Cleaner. ?A versatile water-based mix, DuPont?s stone cleaner is effective on marble, limestone, travertine, slate, ceramic, porcelain and even grout. You can spray the cleaner directly on your tile or stone flooring, but we recommend mixing it with water first. Simply wipe it up with a dry towel ? no rinsing required. And when it comes to grout cleaning, avoid bleach. It can change your grout color.
Hardwood and Laminate Cleaner
Mohawk Hardwood & Laminate Care Kit. Mohawk?s hardwood cleaner uses non-toxic and soap-free ingredients, so you don?t have to worry about streaking or damage to your floor?s finish. Just make sure to vacuum your hardwood or laminate floors with a specialized vacuum to avoid surface damage. Then, apply the cleaner to a microfiber cloth or mop.
Vinyl Cleaner
